About The Role
As an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. Every person who works here understands that our Residents are people with their own stories to tell. Joining HC-One gives you a chance to give back to these individuals.
For you, as an Activities Co-ordinator at Sedgley Court, your responsibilities include planning and implementing activities that delight Residents, assisting the Home Manager with fundraising events, and encouraging socialisation and hobbies among Residents. Your work will always be guided by kindness.
HC-One seeks candidates with experience working with vulnerable individuals, preferably in developing activity programmes. A positive attitude, strong planning, organisational, and IT skills, and effective time management are essential. You should communicate considerately and kindly with Residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to respond appropriately. Attendance at safeguarding training and the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns are required.
