Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional service in a lively environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Previous restaurant or bar experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. All positions are paid, and we welcome applicants who are eager to develop their skills within the hospitality industry.
Duties
* Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with company standards and health & safety regulations
* Greet guests warmly and take orders accurately, ensuring prompt service
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
* Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws
* Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
* Restock bar supplies and monitor stock levels to ensure smooth operation during shifts
* Provide friendly assistance and respond professionally to guest enquiries
* Follow food safety procedures and uphold high standards of hygiene throughout all duties
* Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
Qualifications
* Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or restaurant roles is desirable but not essential
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
* Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
* Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions and cash reconciliation
* Proven time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
