We’re supporting a specialist provider to appoint an experienced Band 7 Lead Occupational Therapist to provide clinical and professional leadership within a women’s mental health service.
This senior role is ideal for an OT who is passionate about occupation‑focused practice, service development, and supporting more junior colleagues within a complex clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide clinical leadership for occupational therapy services across the ward(s)
* Lead on assessment, intervention planning, and outcome measurement
* Promote and embed occupation‑focused practice within the MDT
* Provide supervision, mentorship, and professional guidance to OT colleagues
* Lead on audit, service improvement, and evidence‑based practice
* Contribute to risk management, governance, and quality assurance processes
Requirements
* HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
* Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
* Significant post‑qualification experience within mental health services
* Experience providing clinical supervision and leadership
* Strong knowledge of governance, risk management, and service development
