Current contracted hours available: Every other Saturday 2 - 17:45-24:00

FedBucks is a not-for-profit GP federation of 47 GP practices covering a population of over 500,000 patients across Buckinghamshire. We began in 2016 and now employ around 300 members of staff at our head office site, and across our planned and unplanned care services.

Salary: £ £16.82 per hour(depending on day/time)
Reporting to: UCS General Manager
Job Summary
The Shift Manager is responsible for service delivery across all Urgent Care Services both in and out of hours and all UCS locations. The team are supported in hours by the clinical and operational leadership team and out of hours by the on-call team.
They are the single point of contact for escalation from sites and absence management across all sites. They need to ensure all expected staff are working and breaks are accounted for. They should align to company policies and work to process with the ability to manage conflict resolution and workload prioritisation in a calm and professional manner.
Working closely with the clinical teams they are responsible for the safe management of the shift aligned to the service KPI's, including safety reviews, comfort calling and escalation, working to the Opel escalation framework and business continuity plans.
To provide shift leadership building a close team working environment across both operational and clinical teams. To ensure all teams are appropriately engaged with, through active listening and good communication. To walk the vision and values of the organisation treating people respectfully.
