Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with Production, Environmental, Health & Safety procedures, accurately record process data using percentages/basic maths, promptly report incidents, and minimise waste to control costs.
* Operate, set up, and inspect machinery and components across multiple areas; use measuring equipment, SPC techniques, and quality sampling to monitor product quality and prepare inspection documentation.
* Work effectively with colleagues, management, and key members to meet production targets, customer demand, and project requirements, assisting with any additional duties as instructed.
* Perform inspection, packaging, and manufacturing tasks to agreed standards, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to budget controls.
Key skills
* Experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
* Experience of structured problem solving techniques such as Six Sigma and LEAN.
* Reasonable IT skills and experience working with Word/Excel.
* Willingness to follow safe systems of work.
