Blackwaters are looking for a commercial finance manager to join a high-growth, Private Equity–backed services business.
The Role
We are seeking a commercially astute FP&A Manager to lead the full FP&A function across the UK entities. Reporting into senior leadership, you will act as a true business partner, driving insight, performance, and value creation across the group. This is a high-visibility role offering exposure to Private Equity stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Ownership of the entire FP&A function for UK entities
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
Deliver high-quality management reporting and performance analysis
Provide strategic business partnering to operational and commercial leaders
Support board reporting and PE stakeholder requirements
Lead financial modelling and support strategic decision-making
Oversee and manage project accounting across key initiatives
Support IPO preparation, including enhanced reporting and controls
About You
• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in FP&A within a PE-backed, high-growth environment
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Experience supporting acquisitions or working in acquisitive environments preferred
• Confident managing complex data and delivering clear financial insight
• Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable in a fast-paced growth setting
• Value-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, driving efficiencies, and enhancing financial processes to support scalable growth
£80k-£100k + bonus. Hybrid working, based in Woking
