Key responsibilities:
1. Management of cleaning operatives at client sites on daily basis.
2. Visit assigned sites on a regular basis to audit our delivery, QMS, H&S
3. Budgetary control of costs v budgets. Variances understood and explained.
4. Creation of purchase orders as and when needed, approve invoices for payment.
5. Provide strong customer support in line with contract SLA's.
6. Dealing with suppliers daily. Responsible for signing off for payment of supplier invoices.
7. Mobilise new contract wins, follow the Mitie Mobilization plan from TUPE through to steady state.
8. Motivate Mitie onsite staff, train, supervise and organise replacement cover where required.
9. Agree any training needs and free up staff accordingly.
10. Support business development regarding surveys, pricing, meeting prospective clients.
11. Undertake performance management of staff under your control, performance manage as necessary.
12. Manage disciplinary and grievance issues with guidance from HR to adopt a consistent approach.
13. Review applications, interview and select new recruits as and when approved and required.
14. Provide a safe working environment for our employees on client sites & to co-operate & co-ordinate with clients on site health & safety matters.
15. Complete “Toolbox” talks with staff on a regular basis
About you:
16. Previous Facilities Management or related industry experience required.
17. Good people management skills, with at least 2 years demonstrable team management ·
18. Interest in delivering outsourced Soft Services
19. Commercial awareness
20. Budget Management & resource planning.
21. Proven track record in a demanding environment.
22. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
