About the role As a Price and Promotion Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping our pricing and promotional strategies by delivering timely insights and advanced analysis. You will support a wide range of analytical queries and will be responsible for providing accurate, timely insight and reporting on price and promotion initiatives for stakeholders across the business. You will be responsible for Supporting the delivery of key strategic projects and leading research on: price architecture, promotion optimisation, trade plan analysis, sales forecasting, market performance. Writing complex SQL queries to develop new insight and analysis. Identifying and solving issues, and performing thorough QA. Managing database storage and optimising efficiency of queries. Working with Machine Learning models, monitoring performance and accuracy. Supporting the end-to-end process from planning and forecasting through to performance review and insight. Explaining technical details to stakeholders concisely through reports and presentations. Proactively identifying processes where we can standardise, simplify, and automate. Responding to stakeholders from Pricing, Trade, Commercial, Finance and Leadership channels to ensure our commercial strategy is aligned and executed efficiently. You will need Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or related field. Experience focusing on the practical & pragmatic use of data and a passion for connecting your work directly to the customer experience, making a real and tangible impact. Strong SQL Skills, (Teradata, Hadoop etc) and experience handling large data volumes. Mathematical and logic-based reasoning skills. Strong written and verbal communication, ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. Knowledge of Python and similar coding languages. Experience with Tableau, PowerBI and similar tools.
