What You'll Be Doing
As an HLTA, you will play a vital role in enhancing teaching and learning across the school. Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering engaging and creative learning activities across the curriculum
* Supporting teachers with differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all pupils
* Leading targeted small-group interventions to boost progress in core subjects
* Providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional learning needs
* Delivering lesson cover when required, ensuring smooth and effective continuity
* Supporting behaviour management strategies to create a positive, motivating classroom environment
* Encouraging pupils to engage, achieve and develop a genuine love of learning
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold an HLTA qualification or equivalent (essential)
* Bring experience working in a primary school setting, ideally across various year groups
* Be passionate about children's learning and their holistic development
* Be proactive, adaptable, and able to work both independently and within a team
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

* Hours: 8:20am - 3.15pm
* Pay: Minimum £125 per day

What You Need to Apply
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
* Have the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
* Provide two professional references covering the last 2 years
* Have recent safeguarding training (we can provide this if needed)
