GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a dynamic school in Conisbrough, DN12. As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that encourage students to explore the world of technology, coding, and digital literacy.
Responsibilities as a Computer Science Teacher:
* Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Introduce students to coding, programming languages, and the principles of computer systems.
* Create an engaging classroom environment that stimulates interest in technology.
* Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
Requirements for Computer Science Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
* Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Computer Science.
* Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) and digital technologies.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps clearly explained.
