Full-Time Teaching Assistant

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hindley is seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA or a passionate individual looking to make a real difference in a supportive school environment.
The successful educator will:
* Support teaching and learning across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
* Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning objectives
* Provide targeted intervention support in core subjects
* Assist pupils with additional needs, including SEND
* Contribute to a positive, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
* Support behaviour management in line with school policy
* Work closely with the class teacher and wider staff team
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday during term time only.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Previous experience working within a primary school setting
* A relevant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning or equivalent)
* Confidence supporting pupils with a range of abilities and needs
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive, flexible and professional approach
* A genuine passion for supporting children’s development and wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
