Role Overview
Based at the head office in Basingstoke, the Internal Sales Support role involves daily interaction with wholesalers and electrical contractor customers, assisting with orders, quotations, technical inquiries, and customer service issues. Responsibilities include proactive sales calls, handling customer communications via phone, email, and Teams, providing technical training and product information, and managing quotations. This role suits someone with experience in electrical wholesale, hands-on electrical or technical roles, or entry-level customer service or sales support. Full product training and coaching will be provided. Success in this role requires a positive, outgoing phone manner, strong organizational skills, good written communication, and the ability to manage a large product portfolio in lighting and controls. Regular contact with the field sales team necessitates good relationship-building and communication skills.

Candidate Requirements
* 6-12 months or more of experience in office sales, customer service, branch management, or field sales
* Experience in a technical environment such as electrical engineering apprenticeships, project estimating, or technical support roles
* Ability to build relationships with customers and team members, comfortable working over the phone and on Microsoft Teams
* A motivated, professional, and consultative approach with a desire to learn and develop a career
* Understanding of electrical or technical drawings is desirable but not essential
