Care Assistant – The Bridles Care Home, Dykes Way, Wincanton, BA9 9FQ. Salary: £12.80 - £13.80 per hour depending on experience. Permanent position with day & night shifts (7:30am - 7:30pm and 7:30pm - 7:30am).

The Bridles is a new state-of-the-art care home offering residential, nursing and specialist dementia care. Located in Wincanton, it provides superior design and finishes, smart technology, and spaces for connection and comfort. We offer facilities to support wellbeing and a great working environment, including a spacious training room, staff room, and dedicated staff shower facilities.

Responsibilities
* Support residents with a wide range of requirements, from companionship to personal care.
* Observe and manage residents’ behaviour, document, and report changes in accordance with required legislation.
* Support residents’ nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
* Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
* Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory and legal requirements.
Qualifications and Qualities
* Motivation, positivity, and excellent interpersonal skills.
* Excellent communication skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Desirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.
