Job Duties:
* Supporting students with special educational needs in classroom activities
* Assisting the class teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Providing one-on-one support to students who require extra help
* Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
* Assisting with behaviour management and promoting positive learning behaviours
Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (e.g., CACHE Level 3)
* Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to special educational needs
Education:
Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
Experience:
Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of different special educational needs and how to support them effectively
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Preferred Qualifications:
* First Aid certification
* Mental Health First Aid training
Working Conditions:
* Work primarily in a classroom setting
* Full-time hours, temporary contract
* May require some flexibility in working hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
