Remedials Estimator
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, 08:30 17:00
Location: Gillingham, Kent
Salary Range: Competitive, depending on experience
Contract type: Permanent
Your next role
As a Remedials Estimator, you'll play a crucial part in turning service findings into clear, commercially sound remedial solutions for our customers. Working closely with engineers, clients and internal teams, you'll analyse service reports, gather technical detail where needed and produce professional quotations that balance compliance, value and quality.
This is a varied, hands-on role where your industry knowledge really makes a difference - helping customers understand the importance of remedial works while contributing directly to business growth. If you enjoy problem-solving, customer interaction and seeing projects move from enquiry to completion, this role offers real ownership and impact.
What you will be doing
* Preparing accurate and professional quotations for remedial works arising from service enquiries
* Reviewing service reports and identifying appropriate technical and commercial solutions
* Liaising with engineers and, where required, arranging site visits to gather additional information
* Managing and prioritising multiple quotations while meeting KPIs and turnaround times
* Following up submitted quotations, clearly explaining works and securing orders
* Building strong relationships with existing customers and identifying opportunities to increase spend
A typical week might include reviewing new service enquiries, speaking with engineers about site findings, preparing and submitting quotations, following up with clients to talk through proposed works, and collaborating with the wider Service team to support ongoing contracts.
Who we are looking for
Were looking for someone who combines technical understanding with a customer-focused, commercial mindset.
You'll ideally bring:

* Confidence producing quotations and discussing them with customers
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple enquiries at once
* Good written and verbal communication, with a professional telephone manner
* A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
