School Admin Assistant (Part-Time) Location: Primary School, S9 area, Sheffield Position: Temporary Admin Assistant Start Date: 2nd September 2025 Career Teachers are working in partnership with a mainstream primary school in Sheffield who are seeking a dedicated and efficient Admin Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis in September 2025. The role involves working 25-30 hours per week for 39 weeks of the year (excluding school holidays) at a primary school in the S9 area of Sheffield. Working Hours: Monday to Wednesday: 8am - 12:30pm Thursday and Friday: 8am - 4pmKey Responsibilities: Managing the main reception desk, handling phone calls and messages Inputting data on SIMS (training provided) Reporting school dinners on SIMS Monitoring emails Providing first aid (first aid training preferred) Stock monitoring General administrative tasks (computer proficiency required)Skills Required: Organisational Skills: Managing multiple tasks, maintaining records, and ensuring smooth operations. Communication Skills: Both written and verbal communication are crucial for interacting with staff, students, and parents. Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, SIMS) and general computer skills. Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and other administrative tasks. Time Management: Prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines. First Aid Training: Preferable for handling minor injuries and emergencies.
