Join us on our journey to ForeverCaring as a North American Inventory Analyst, and you’ll drive progress that really means something The Logistics Inventory team is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the operational performance and inventory accuracy at two distribution centers in the USA and Canada. The position is a remote opportunity; however, it will require regular travel to the distribution centers. This role is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy through daily, timely checks and addressing discrepancies to final resolution, including operational and analytical support for Logistics and Supply Chain projects, and responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing Convatec’ s current reporting Standard Operational Procedures (SOP), including reports to management, distribution, and other business units in support of operational and strategic analysis. Role is also responsible for creating and maintaining monthly Key Performance Indicators. Key Duties and Responsibilities • Act as the primary point of contact for inventory for the third-party logistics providers in North America • Analysis of inventory including quality, damaged, short dated and expired stock • Preparing inventory day/month end reports • Identifying and solving reoccurring inventory reconciliation issues • Providing support for external and internal audits • Manage destruction order paperwork, approval, and final destruction of product on a routine basis. • Monthly destruction activity and reporting • Support cycle counts and Wall to Wall inventory counts, as required • Reconcile exception purchase orders with Planning team and Plants. • Collaborate with IT on improvement initiatives and user acceptance testing. • Ensure inventory is blocked and/or released as Quality and Regulatory requires working with Third Party Logistics to ensure systems match, maintaining required records. • Coordination of rework activities (i.e., redressing, visual inspections, etc.) with distribution Centers and Operations leads. • Responsible for generating specific Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) on cycle counting, Inventory adjustments, Inbound performance, Inventory accuracy, outbound shipments. • Initiate and track Global Freight Claims to the Distribution Center(s) • Provide coverage for other Inventory Analysts, as required. • Support Global Logistics team as needed on key strategic projects. • Support warehouse transfers as needed by testing, on site meetings and go live support. • Manage the donation process of excess product as needed Principal Contacts • Internal – Internal: Global Logistics, Finance, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Transportation Specialists, Information Management, Global Master Data, Quality Assurance and Regulatory • External: Global Logistic Suppliers and freight forwarders Travel Requirements • 15 to 25% travel required for supplier performance meetings and other job-related meetings. Some overnight travel may be required. About You Key competencies and characteristics candidates need to demonstrate to help build our diverse, inclusive culture and to be successful in the role. Examples include: • High School Diploma/GED required. • High degree of skills in data analysis with with systems such as Excel, Access, and IBP. • High degree of experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required. • High degree of knowledge in SAP, with ability to problem solve system errors, via root cause analysis and with an eye for detail required. • 3-5 years relevant work experience • Strong analytical skills: ability to analyze large sets of data and identify trends. • Knowledge of international supply chain, customs and/or logistics operations is desired. • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize. • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work proactively. • Continuous improvement approach, being able to bring new ideas and challenge the status quo. • Proficiency in verbal and written communications to present information unambiguously and clearly. • Work collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders. • Organize and track project activity and critical next steps outlined during overview sessions. Working Conditions This position is remote USA location-based role. Travel to North American Distribution Centers and other local meetings will be required.
