The post holder will work as a member of #Thrive for Heywood, Middleton, Rochdale (HMR) CAMHS, located in the heart of the community in Rochdale.

#Thrive is a dynamic, community-based mental health and emotional wellbeing service supporting children, young people, and families across HMR. We believe in early help, accessible support, and working in partnership with our local communities to improve mental health outcomes for all.


Main duties of the job

Provide administrative support to the #Thrive Team.o Ensure the provision of support to the administrative lead and the wider #Thrive team which includes processing of referrals,o Log all new referrals onto Paris, allocating these to caseloads when authorised.o Input all new patient demographic data onto the PARIS system.o Maintaining patient health records, ensuring that patient information is up to date and the records are kept in good order, with replacement records generated when the condition requires.

Job responsibilities

Create and achieve a balance in the workload by prioritising work as necessary and monitoring the situation on a daily basis. Maintain information systems including Paris in accordance with directives from the Clinical Lead / Operational Coordinator. To support the booking system, ensuring all appointments and client information is recorded on Paris. To report any potential problems to the #Thrive Team Leader


Person Specification


Education/Qualifications

* Qualifications or experience to NVQ II level.
* PDCMS or similar qualification
* NHS experience
* ECDL


Experience

* Highly motivated
* Pragmatic
* Problem-solving skills
* Previous experience of personnel and workload management
* Experience within a medical environment
* Ability to demonstrate effective utilisation of resources.
* Previous experience within mental health teams


Knowledge

* Under-standing of child and adolescent mental health issues


Skills and Abilities

* Effective communication (verbal and written)
* Skills in order to communicate with all levels of the organisation
* Able to handle sensitive information with utmost discretion.
* Good interpersonal skills in order to liaise effectively with people at all levels.
* Able to work to deadlines and under pressure.
* Able to work on own initiative without close supervision
* o Capable of prioritising and organising own workload
* Able to work as a member of a team.
* Excellent organisational skills
* Good time management.


Work Related Circumstances

* Use of a car or access to a means of mobility to travel across the Trust footprint in line with service needs
* Willing to carry out all duties and responsibilities of the post in accordance with the Trust's Equal Opportunities and Equality and Diversity policies
* Appointments to regulated and controlled activities require an enhanced DBS disclosure.
