Site / Office Based (5 Days)
6 Months Fixed Term Contract With Possible Extension
Responsibilities
* Perform minor repair works on building fabric, such as door handles, lights, etc.
* Carry out small painting works in internal and external areas.
* Conduct ad-hoc weeding of landscaped and car park areas, including applying weed killer.
* Repair minor potholes and damage in car park areas as needed.
* Assist the studio management team with daily site and production tasks.
* Carry out emergency lighting flick tests, record monthly hot and cold-water temperatures, and flush infrequently used outlets weekly.
* Supervise visiting contractors and engineers on site.
* Maintain detailed records of onsite activities, primarily via SharePoint.
* Coordinate with security and cleaning services on daily operations.
Key Skills & Requirements
* Valid UK driving license and ability to commute.
* Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications.
* Experience in a building or facilities environment, working with contractors and suppliers.
* Optional but preferred: skills or qualifications in basic building maintenance (painting, electrical, plastering, etc.).
* Friendly, polite, and willing to assist onsite clients.
* Effective communication skills with all visitors and staff.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet changing deadlines.
* Self-motivated, organized, and able to build strong working relationships.
* Willingness to work additional hours, including weekends and evenings when required.
