The wider Farm & Countryside team includes 12 team members in a wide range of roles and you will report to the Farm & Countryside Manager.It is a busy estate, with lots going on. We manage over 700ha of woodland, grassland and arable farmland as well as over 500 livestock and equines. Wintertime is particularly busy for our nature conservation work. This winter we will be planting 19,000 hedgerows tress alongside over 2km of hedge laying and coppicing and our woodland thinning. You'll be focused on delivering hedge planting across the estate as part of a 10-year Hedgerow Restoration Project. You'll prepare and plant nearly 6,000 trees across 9 locations. There's a lot to get done this winter and we work in all weathers to make sure that we make it happen for nature.
