Progress Coach - Mathematics (Newport)
Salary: £27,002 - £29,996
1 x Full Time (37 hours per week) - Term Time - Fixed Term to 12/06/26

We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic, self-motivated and well qualified Progress Coaches. Under the direction of the Leader of Learning, the post holder will deliver 1:1 and group support to learners who are working towards their GCSE Mathematics or Essential Skills qualification.
The post will provide learners with targeted intervention support that will take place outside of their normal classes. You will provide learners with topic-based support to help them bridge any gaps in their understanding so they can achieve their GCSE Mathematics or Essential Skills qualification.

Responsibilities
* Deliver 1:1 and group support to learners working toward GCSE Mathematics or Essential Skills qualifications.
* Provide targeted intervention outside of normal classes to bridge gaps in understanding and enable achievement of the relevant qualification.
Requirements and Safeguarding
* Enthusiastic, self-motivated and well qualified with direction from the Leader of Learning.
* Employment is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) where appropriate.
* Note: Successful candidates will be expected to pay for the Enhanced Disclosure and registration with the EWC.
