Our client, a well-established organisation operating in a regulated and complex environment, is looking to appoint a Financial Reporting Accountant into a key role within their finance team. This position will suit a technically strong, qualified accountant who enjoys ownership of statutory reporting, audit coordination and continuous improvement, while working closely with senior stakeholders.
Key responsibilities of the Financial Reporting Accountant:
* Prepare statutory financial statements and support group reporting requirements.
* Deliver accurate and timely month-end close, including reconciliations, schedules and analytical review.
* Ensure financial reporting complies with group accounting policies and IFRS.
* Coordinate the external audit process, managing timelines, deliverables and audit queries.
* Support the maintenance and enhancement of a robust internal controls framework.
* Provide technical accounting support for complex or judgemental areas.
* Build effective working relationships across finance and wider business teams.
Key essentials of the Financial Reporting Accountant:
