We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and caring Domestic to join our dedicated team at Bowes Court. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents.
You will play a key part in ensuring high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, helping to promote residents' comfort, dignity, and well-being every day. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of a clean and hygienic care environment.
Purpose of the Role
* To support the effective operation of the domestic services within the home
* To maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control
* To ensure residents' privacy, dignity, and respect at all times
* To carry out duties in line with the home's policies, procedures, and best practice guidelines
* To work in accordance with relevant Codes of Conduct
Key Responsibilities
Domestic Duties
* Cleaning residents' rooms, communal areas, bathrooms, and offices to a high standard
* Following cleaning schedules and infection-control guidelines
* Using cleaning products safely and in line with COSHH regulations
* Ensuring all areas of the home remain welcoming, safe, and hygienic
General Responsibilities
* Taking responsibility for Health & Safety and reporting hazards promptly
* Reading and signing communication logs and following instructions as required
* Maintaining strict confidentiality at all times
* Attending training, meetings, and development activities
* Reporting any concerns or unusual situations to management
* Remaining flexible and supporting the wider team when required
