We are seeking a resilient and reflective SEMH Teacher to work in a specialist provision in Bury, supporting pupils who require emotional understanding, consistency, and positive role modelling.
This is a role for teachers who believe relationships come before results.
The Role
* Deliver engaging lessons that balance structure, flexibility, and emotional support.
* Support pupils with SEMH needs, trauma backgrounds, and behavioural challenges.
* Implement behaviour support plans and de-escalation strategies.
* Create a safe, predictable classroom environment that builds trust and regulation.
* Work collaboratively with pastoral staff, SENCOs, and external agencies.
* Track progress in both academic and emotional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
