Senior Solutions Consultant (Presales) – Remote (UK)
Aptean seeks an experienced Solutions Consultant to join the Retail ERP Sales team. The role involves leading discovery workshops, conducting tailored software demonstrations, and collaborating with sales, product development, and implementation teams to deliver client‑centric solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with retail and wholesale clients to understand their business processes and requirements.
* Showcase how Aptean’s Retail ERP Software solutions enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
* Lead software demonstrations and workshops tailored to client needs.
* Collaborate with sales, product development, and implementation teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
* Provide ongoing consultancy and support throughout the software lifecycle to maximize client satisfaction.
Required Experience and Skills
* 3‑5 years of proven experience as a Solutions Consultant (presales) or related senior consultancy role within ERP software.
* Strong knowledge of Retail ERP Software platforms and their application in retail and wholesale sectors.
* Commercially aware with understanding of solution sales methodologies, value messaging, pricing models, procurement processes, and buying cycles.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently in an office or remote setting while maintaining strong collaboration with UK‑based teams.
* Analytical mindset with technical awareness, able to translate complex technical concepts.
* Demonstrated capability to deliver industry‑specific solutions that address complex business challenges.
Location and Work Arrangement
The position is based in the UK and operates on a hybrid model, combining remote work with regular office attendance at UK locations and customer visits. Occasional travel within the UK and abroad is required.
