Location: Kilmalid, Dumbarton – travel to other sites as required.
Pernod Ricard is a leading global spirits company with a strong focus on innovation and sustainability. The role is based in our Chivas Brothers operation, supporting production growth, carbon reduction, safety, efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Management – manage and control capital projects across Chivas Brothers Operations sites, including investigation, solution, design, development, estimation, implementation, installation and commissioning.
* Installation – specify, design, purchase and supervise the installation of instrumentation and control systems, including computer networks, PLCs, electrical, electronic, pneumatic and electro‑mechanical equipment, and implement Instrumentation and Control Engineering Standards.
* Technical Expertise – provide technical assistance to production and engineering departments in all areas of computing, instrumentation, control and electronic systems.
* Continuous Improvement – assist in the development and implementation of standards and systems to promote continuous improvement in CAPEX execution and ensure legislative compliance.
Required Qualifications
* Degree level education in electrical and electronic engineering (or equivalent) with relevant industrial experience.
* Strong understanding of PLC systems, including I/O, programming and graphics.
* Knowledge of instrumentation for setting up, fault finding and calibration, and competence to use PC to access PLCs and diagnose faults.
* Awareness of industrial communication protocols, cyber security and a commitment to Health & Safety legislation.
* Full UK driving licence.
