Our client, a leading global consultancy, is seeking an experienced SAP Cutover Manager to join their Enterprise Transformation practice. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in planning and executing the cutover strategy for complex SAP implementation and migration programmes across multiple industries.
As a Cutover Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of cutover planning, coordination, execution, and risk mitigation, ensuring seamless transitions from legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA or other SAP landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end cutover planning and execution for SAP transformation programmes.
* Develop and own the cutover strategy, master plan, and detailed task lists across all workstreams.
* Coordinate technical, functional, and business teams to ensure readiness for go-live.
* Define and manage mock cutovers, rehearsals, and validation activities.
* Identify and mitigate cutover risks and dependencies, ensuring alignment with programme timelines.
* Work closely with PMO, Data Migration, Testing, and Deployment leads to ensure a smooth transition.
* Manage stakeholder communication and provide clear cutover progress reporting.
* Support post-go-live hypercare and issue resolution as part of transition management.
Essential:
* Proven experience delivering SAP Cutover Management within large-scale SAP programmes (ECC, S/4HANA, or hybrid).
* Strong understanding of SAP modules, technical landscapes, and infrastructure dependencies.
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple workstreams in a complex, multi-vendor environment.
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
* Experience with cutover tools, templates, and project governance frameworks.
