We’re working with schools across Sunderland who are looking for passionate and skilled Teaching Assistants to provide high-quality classroom support. What the role involves:
* Supporting teachers with planning, preparation, and classroom management
* Delivering small group interventions and 1:1 support sessions
* Helping pupils of all abilities to access the curriculum and achieve progress
* Assisting with assessment, recording pupil progress, and providing feedback
* Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting inclusion across the classroom
We’re looking for someone who:
* Holds a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Has experience supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 (desirable)
* Is confident delivering interventions in English and Maths
* Brings patience, creativity, and strong communication skills
* Is flexible, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
