WHAT YOU'LL DO
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
* An open-minded approach and committed to delivering continuous improvement initiatives that will enhance the experience for both DHL and our customers.
* Analyze and mitigate health and safety risks for associates, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
* Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal obligations.
* Ensure effective communication of policies and practices across the operation.
* Implement security measures to protect personnel, assets, and customer products.
* Ensure adherence to work instructions and standard operating procedures.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and drive continuous improvement programs.
* Lead operational performance reviews focusing on profitability and efficiency.
* Ensure achievement of customer KPIs and internal targets.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching for direct reports.
* Engage employees in improvement activities and environmental initiatives.
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
* Strong operational knowledge of logistics and warehousing.
* Experience in managing large teams with a focus on safety and compliance.
* Customer-facing with a service-oriented mindset.
* Familiarity with working within a unionised environment is advantageous.
* Proven ability to build trust with excellent people skills.
