Overview
Primary Care Dietitians is the UK's first national independent specialist dietetics provider. We support NHS Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and GP practices by delivering high-quality, tech-enabled NHS primary care solutions. Our integrated local FCP managed service is delivered by an experienced team of dietitians, supported by Health Education England trained FCP clinical supervisors. We are committed to improving patient care through our specialized dietetics services.
Role Description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Bank Dietitian to deliver group education sessions as part of a Tier 2 Weight Management Service in Maidenhead.
Role Details
* When: Every Wednesday at 6:30pm
* Duration: Up to 90 minutes per session
* Format: Group education sessions (you will be delivering the session content)
* Materials: You may need to prepare slides/resources
* Venue: Likely St Mark’s Hospital, St. Marks Road, Maidenhead, SL6 6DU
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and evidence-based group weight management sessions.
* Support participants to develop practical strategies for healthy lifestyle changes.
* Prepare and adapt teaching materials where required.
* Work collaboratively with the PCN team to ensure smooth running of the programme.
* Maintain accurate session records and feedback as needed.
Requirements
* Experience in delivering group education or structured programmes.
* Knowledge of weight management and behaviour change strategies.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of patients.
* Flexibility and reliability to deliver weekly sessions.
