When The Adults Change is an education consultancy established in 2021 by Paul Dix. The business is built on Paul’s 25 years of experience in education and opened with a waiting list of 250 schools. We are oversubscribed and expanding quickly to meet demand. When The Adults Change works with schools, Academy Trusts, Local Authorities, and Central Governments.
Our mission is to provide exceptional training in behaviour for those working with children and young people, and for parents. The name says it all: when the adults change, everything changes. We don’t ask adults to be perfect. We don’t ask them to overhaul who they are or how they work. We ask them to be calm and consistent, to notice the good, to keep things simple and predictable, and to choose restoration over punishment. We show them how to manage their own behaviour—and know that when they do, the behaviour of the children around them follows.
We hold ourselves to exactly the same standard. The way we work as a team reflects the values we take into schools. We are calm under pressure, consistent with each other, generous in how we treat the people around us, and honest when things go wrong. We don’t manage people through fear or control; we trust each other to do the right thing.
The Role
We need an Administrative Assistant to tighten systems and procedures and give clients a seamless experience from their first enquiry. We are focused on building exceptional relationships with our clients and delivering the best training they have ever had.
You will onboard customers to online platforms, liaise with clients on logistics, and take responsibility for processing and organising data. You will also create and manage social media advertising campaigns.
You will be expected to perform basic administrative tasks alongside higher-level coordination and responsibilities. The Administrative Assistant will join a team consisting of a Relationship Manager, Bookkeeper, Credit Controller, and two Directors.
Person Specification
As you will be working from home, you will need a space free from noise and disruption. Clients should not be able to tell you are working from home; you will need a neutral space dedicated to video calls. You must clear an enhanced DBS check, as our work involves children and schools.
We are looking for someone who:

* Is capable of following procedures and designing new systems to reduce workload.

* Are educated to degree level.
* Have experience with online marketing.
* Have experience working with clients in education or public services.
