A leading property owner and asset manager is seeking an experienced Building Safety Manager to join its Property Management team in London.This is a key compliance role with responsibility for supporting health, safety, and fire governance across a high-quality residential portfolio, including High-Risk Residential Buildings (HRBs).
The Role
You will provide strategic oversight and guidance to Property Management teams and Managing Agents, ensuring full compliance with the Building Safety Act and associated legislation.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Overseeing annual Health & Safety and Fire Risk Assessment programmes
2. Supporting Building Safety Act compliance, including Safety Case management and BSR submissions
3. Monitoring statutory inspections and ensuring remedial actions are completed
4. Conducting compliance audits across managed properties
5. Reviewing and challenging managing agent processes and documentation
6. Producing monthly and quarterly compliance reports
7. Supporting accident investigations and insurance claim processes
