As a Customer Assistant you are required to sell alcohol, therefore you must be 18 or over to work in our store.
What you'll do
1. Interact with the customer in a pleasant, friendly, and helpful manner
2. Maintain store cleanliness and hygiene standards
3. Ensure the correct quantity and quality of goods are made available to our customers
4. Follow freshness and rotation principles
5. Prepare, bake, and display bakery products
6. Ensure all waste is managed correctly
7. Assist in the stock count process
What you'll need
8. A can-do attitude and excellent customer service skills
9. The willingness to go the extra mile for our customer
10. To be responsible and reliable
11. To enjoy working in a fast-paced, varied environment
12. A good team player
13. Preferably, previous experience working as a Store Assistant, but this is not essential provided you have the right attitude
What you'll receive
Through our salary system, we ensure pay equality across all positions at Lidl
14. £ per hour rising to £ per hour after 3 years
15. Additional supplements paid depending on the days & hours worked
16. 25% additional pay for any unsocial hours worked
17. 50% supplement for any hours worked over 40hours
18. 50% supplement working on a Sunday
19. 29 days holidays per annum (pro rata, including Bank Holidays)
