School Meal Supervisory Assistant (SMSA) Type: Part-time, Open-ended contract (until further notice / possible permanent) Hours: Monday to Friday, 12.00-13.00 Dates: 03/11/2025 - until further notice / possible permanent contract Location: Weston Super Mare Pay: £13.69 per hour The successful candidate will be joining a lovely primary school, supporting during the lunch hour. You will be working within a team supervising children from reception - Year 6. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that may also be looking to gain in class experience and develop their skills. The school are offering voluntary work experience in the class to be able to develop into a Teaching Assistant role in the future. Main Duties Include: Supervising children in the dining hall during lunchtime Encouraging good manners and healthy eating Assisting with setting up and clearing away tables and chairs Ensuring the safety and welfare of pupils in the dining areas and playground Promoting positive behaviour and helping to resolve minor disputes Elementa are not a supply agency, we are a schools services & recruiting partner to education settings.
