Aureos is recruiting a Document Controller to support our Renewables project in Pembrokeshire. This position can be remote, but visits to and from the site will be required.
Aureos has a growing capability in the energy market, including major infrastructure solutions and high voltage engineering.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Control intake, handle, and organize storage of electronic and hard copy company and project documentation.
* Follow and improve document control procedures (ultimately as per ISO 19650:1,2).
* Ensure all documentation meets formal requirements and standards.
* Sort, store, and retrieve electronic documents for clients and industry professionals.
* Conduct regular reviews and document audits.
* Organize and distribute documents.
* Share documents at key times to facilitate timely project completion.
* Serve as gatekeeper for internal documents sent and received externally.
* Validate all information and reject or return non-compliant information to the originator.
* Process and control all project document types accurately and promptly.
* Maintain and manage documents, drawings, RFIs, transmittals, and submittals.
* Check for accuracy within files, as per ISO 19650:1,2.
* Distribute project-related information to internal teams.
* File documents systematically.
* Manage the flow of documentation within the project.
* Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and terms of agreement.
* Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects as needed.
* Ensure correct document naming and reject non-compliance.
* Update revisions, statuses, and the state of files.
Skills and Experience
* Experience as a Document Controller in a similar industry.
* Experience with Document Control software.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects.
