Your new companyHays Education are working with Alternative Provisions and SEN Schools in Nottinghamshire, who are looking for teaching and learning support assistants to join their teams on a full-time basis.
Your new roleWithin this role, you will be working as part of a team to support with managing behaviour and learning. Your main duties will include assisting with academic tasks whilst also encouraging and supporting students' social, emotional, and personal development. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of the students by creating a caring and secure environment.
What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed in this role, you must have recent and relevant experience within a similar position. You will have a clear understanding of students' requirements and be able to confidently support individuals by being flexible and taking a holistic approach. You will be confident supporting challenging behaviour and have excellent SEND knowledge and experience.
