Are you a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant, in or local to Oldbury, with the right qualifications and experience to support children with complex needs?
We're seeking a Level 2 (or above) qualified Teaching Assistant in Supporting Teaching & Learning with proven SEN Teaching Assistant experience to work with pupils aged 4-11 in a specialist setting in Oldbury. Pupils present with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and complex medical, physical and sensory needs, including autism.
The Role
* Delivering 1:1 and small-group support tailored to individual needs
* Supporting communication, engagement, sensory regulation and personal development
* Assisting pupils with complex needs throughout the school day
* Working collaboratively within a skilled and supportive team in Oldbury
What We're Looking For
* Level 2 (or above) qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning or SEN - essential
* Previous experience supporting children with SEN - essential
* A patient, calm and nurturing approach
* Ability to commute to Oldbury
