<div><ul><li>To carry out clinical and administrative work as a senior member of the X-ray team; performing all X-ray examinations throughout the Trust within agreed protocols</li><li>Liaising with wards and other departments</li><li>Will also contribute to quality assurance programme and be involved in audit/research where appropriate</li><li>To provide assistance with the rosters</li><li>Provides evidence of maintaining professional competencies as required by Health Care Professionals Council for state registration</li><li>To perform examinations to the highest standard in accordance with department protocols and guidelines, using professional judgement , skills and experience; is not directly supervised, is accountable for own professional actions at all times including in emergency and lone working situations</li><li>Providing information and advice where appropriate</li><li>To be part of the rotation between X-ray and theatres maintaining ones expertise on all equipment</li><li>To prioritise workload according to clinical need</li><li>To deputise for the Lead Radiographer</li><li>To maintain high ethical and professional standards in appearance and attitude as within the guidelines published by the College of Radiographers and adhering to the statement of conduct as approved by the Radiographers Board, Health Care Professions Council</li><li>To maintain patient confidentiality</li></ul></div>
