Part-Time Receptionist (Term Time)
Location: Slimbridge, Gloucestershire
Hours: Part Time | Permanent | Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 2:30pm
Salary: £23,484 (pro rata)
Job Description
Our client is seeking a receptionist to join their team. Reporting to the Senior Administrator, this role provides essential administrative and front-desk support, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment. You'll be key in managing visitor interactions and supporting daily operations, contributing to a positive atmosphere for all.
Key Responsibilities of a Receptionist
* Serve as the primary point of contact for all visitors to the establishment.
* Handle telephone calls, messages, deliveries, and general inquiries.
* Ensure correct visitor procedures are followed.
* Provide administrative support, including printing, photocopying, and managing supplies.
* Coordinate room bookings and meetings.
* Assist with IT, Health and Safety, and Asset Register maintenance.
* Uphold the organisation's vision, values, and internal policies.
* Promote safety protocols and engage with health and safety requirements.
* Complete all required training and actively engage in professional development.
Key Skills of a Receptionist
* Essential: GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
* Desirable: Administration, Safety, IT, or First Aid qualifications.
* Essential: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experienced in general administration and reception duties.
* Desirable: Experience in an administrative environment, including Management Information Systems (MIS).
