Here at Aspris, we are proud to be a leading provider of specialist education services with over 30 schools nationwide.
Fromefield Manor School will be a new SEN school located in central Frome, Somerset and will be a special school for up to 30 pupils, aged 11-19 who have a diagnosis of autism with associated complex needs.
Fromefield Manor will be operating through a Total communication approach and so experience of working with pupils with ASD and some knowledge of the use of TEACCH and PECS systems would be desirable. As teacher at Fromefield Manor, your role will be to develop and facilitate a bespoke person-centred curriculum in order to meet a wide range of learner needs.
This is a unique opportunity to play an important part in the startup of an exciting new educational development within the Southwest Cluster of Aspris Schools. We are looking to recruit an outstanding Teacher to join our new team. We are looking for an ambitious, energetic, and committed person who will encourage and inspire all learners through their individual learning journeys. The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher and ideally have experience of teaching and supporting young people within SEN. Due to the implementation of bespoke and personalised curriculums being most appropriate in meeting learner needs, applications from a primary or secondary background are welcome. We would like the successful applicant to start as soon as possible to work alongside the new Headteacher to prepare Fromefield Manor School for the September 2024 opening.
