As a Care Assistant with Meallmore, you’ll help residents enjoy each day by providing the quality care and support they deserve. You’ll assist with daily living, offering support and companionship, and sharing great moments and memories. It’s a chance to bring your dedication and compassion to a fulfilling environment. Every day will be different, so you can expect to undertake varied and rewarding work.
The support you provide is similar to what would be given by a member of the resident’s family.
Your Role and Responsibilities
1. Ensuring the highest levels of care by supporting residents with washing, dressing, mealtimes, and other daily activities.
2. Promoting residents' independence and well-being.
3. Monitoring residents' health, liaising with relatives and colleagues.
4. Supporting residents in physical and social activities, understanding their interests and needs to help them lead their best lives.
What we look for
1. A naturally caring and kind nature.
2. Excellent communication and time management skills.
3. Patience and empathy for challenging situations.
4. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ideally, you will have an SVQ level 2 or above/equivalent in Health and Social Care, but don’t worry if you don’t; we will fully fund and support you to achieve this.
Salary: £-£ per hour
Hours: Full & part-time hours available (Days & Nights)
