Your new company
You'll be joining a highly specialised engineering organisation based in Plymouth. The company designs and manufactures advanced manned and unmanned vehicles for use across defence, research, and commercial sectors, and is known for pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the subsea environment.
Your new role
As a Financial Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the Commercial Lead with tracking and reporting on the financial performance of major engineering projects. You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial data, generating forecasts, monitoring cash flow and milestone payments, and contributing to internal reviews and audit preparation. This is a full-time, on-site role offering exposure to both commercial and corporate finance functions.
What you'll need to succeed
1. A degree in business, commercial, or contractual disciplines (or relevant experience)
2. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas
3. Strong analytical and numerical ability with high attention to detail
4. Experience working with multiple data sources and systems
5. A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and reporting
