Role Responsibilities
* Managing audit assignments from planning through to completion
* Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and supporting their development
* Liaising directly with clients to build trusted relationships
* Preparing and reviewing financial statements and accounts (if in a mixed role)
* Ensuring compliance with relevant audit standards and internal procedures
* Supporting senior managers and partners with project delivery and team oversight
* Playing a hands-on role in client service and quality assurance

Candidate Requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualified
* Currently working at assistant manager level within a UK accountancy practice
* Strong experience in audit (accounts experience beneficial)
* Excellent technical knowledge and up-to-date understanding of UK accounting/audit standards
* Good leadership, organisational, and client communication skills
* Proactive, motivated, and capable of managing work independently and as part of a team
