Overview
At AtkinsRéalis we offer an opportunity to make a difference and shape the world to benefit future generations and the natural environment. The 24/7 business of collecting, treating and safely returning society's wastewater to the environment inevitably produces residuals that require management, but can also be valuable, renewable resources. We use the term bioresources in the UK to cover the solids extracted from wastewater treatment both untreated (sewage sludge), and after further treatment and stabilisation (biosolids), however, across the world we use the term to cover recovery of a wider range of organic resources from resource-rich solid, gaseous and liquid outputs created by the water sector and adjacent sectors, industry and from similar treatment processes.
At AtkinsRéalis, due to significant success in the UK and global bioresources markets, our Bioresources Team is growing exponentially. We are therefore on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals at all levels from recent university graduates to water industry professionals.
