We’re looking for a people-focused leader to join our Shared Services Practice leadership team and contribute to the wider UK Projects extended leadership group. This Practice is home to our early careers intake and plays a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of project managers.
Security clearance (or the willingness to apply) is required for this role.
What you’ll do
* Lead and line manage a team of up to 20 Project Professionals, ensuring successful delivery of customer engagements.
* Deliver high-quality, consistent projects within contracted accounts, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction is maintained and acting on feedback for improvement.
* Continuously evolve and innovate the Practice’s capabilities to align with business strategy.
* Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise across internal and external stakeholders.
* Manage team operations and financial performance to meet targets and improve productivity.
* Foster a high-performance culture through talent development, succession planning, and effective performance management. Build strong relationships with service management, account teams, and clients to understand needs and ensure quality delivery
What you’ll need
* Proven success in managing IT projects across multiple accounts, with strong commercial acumen and quality standards.
* Experience in leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
* Proactive in resolving project challenges while maintaining a strong balance between customer expectations, team development, and strategic business priorities.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Experience collaborating with sales, service delivery, and service development teams.
* Passion for continuous improvement, standardisation, and driving operational excellence.
