Duties
* Classroom teaching, tutorial work, outreach duties, residential, open and distance learning courses, and student placements
* Organizational and administrative work, including preparation, marking, and student welfare and academic counseling responsibilities
* Acting as a Personal Tutor and providing pastoral care support
* Contributing to team-based learning and teaching approaches
* Implementing student-centered, negotiated learning programs in line with the College’s curriculum
* Managing induction procedures and ensuring students understand expectations and program details
* Setting, assessing, and providing feedback on assignments and activities to promote student development and progression
* Organizing work placements and managing discipline information
* Collaborating with managers on professional development
Skills/Experience
* Effective communication with diverse groups across all ages and levels
* Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a busy environment
* Industry experience and knowledge in health and social care
Qualifications
* Minimum GCSE Grade 4 / C or equivalent Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English
* Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care
* Level 5 Teaching qualification or commitment to achieve it within the required timeframe
