Responsibilities
* Manage housekeeping and portering departments, ensuring quality service delivery.
* Take overall responsibility for health and safety and waste management across the hospital.
* Perform effective people management: recruitment, development, deployment, performance review and attendance management.
* Lead the team to continual improvement by example.
* Ensure implementation and compliance with all relevant statutes and legislation, driving Health & Safety within all departments.
* Review, develop, update and implement local policies and procedures in line with statutory and organisational guidelines.
* Act as the hospital’s primary link for ICT and accounts/billing, working with local and central teams to maintain oversight of technology and financial issues.
