Alexander Steele are working with an established ambient food manufacturing business who are looking to recruit an Engineer to join their site-based engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience working within food or FMCG manufacturing, with strong fault-finding capability across electrical and mechanical systems in a fast-paced production environment. Roles & Responsibilities: * Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production and packaging equipment to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency * Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults on a range of automated machinery * Support continuous improvement activities, identifying opportunities to improve reliability and performance * Ensure all engineering work is completed in line with food safety, quality, and health & safety standards * Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation using the site CMMS * Support installations, upgrades, and commissioning of new equipment * Work closely with production teams to support site performance and uptime On Offer: * £45,000 annual salary * 4 on 4 off (4 day shift, 4 night shift rotating) * Pension etc. If this is of interest, please apply with your most up-to-date CV and I will be in touch...
