Summary
Kyma is seeking an experienced Senior Operations professional / Head of Operations to lead and oversee the firm’s operational infrastructure in London. This is a senior, hands‑on role within a growing credit‑focused investment platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full operational framework of the business, working closely with the Chief Operating Officer, investment team, investor services team, fund administrators, prime brokers, custodians, and other external service providers. The role combines strategic oversight with day‑to‑day execution and requires deep experience across complex credit products and distressed situations.

Job Description
The Senior / Head of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the full operational lifecycle, including trade capture, settlement and lifecycle management across complex credit instruments, including loans, distressed positions and restructurings; supervision of reconciliations, cash and collateral monitoring; oversight of NAV processes and fund administrator outputs; management of prime broker, custodian and other service provider relationships; operational risk management and enhancement of the control framework; regulatory and audit coordination; liquidity oversight; and support for strategic initiatives such as new fund launches and infrastructure development, ensuring robust, scalable and efficient operational processes across the firm.
Requirements
* 8–10+ years of experience in hedge fund or credit‑focused asset management operations.
* Significant exposure to distressed credit, structured products, or illiquid instruments.
* Experience managing fund administrators, prime brokers, and external service providers.
* Strong knowledge of operational controls and regulatory environment (UK/FCA).
* Proven ability to operate both strategically and hands‑on.
* Strong communication and coordination skills; able to interface with multiple internal and external parties.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Academic degree in a numerate discipline, finance or business (bachelors/master).
* Proficiency with Bloomberg and other relevant financial data platforms.
* Ability and willingness to work on‑site in our London office.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
