A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a well-established global organisation in Darlington as a Customer Service Advisor. This part-time role is ideal for someone looking to balance work with other commitments, offering flexible hours and the potential for long-term career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to customer queries by phone and email in a timely and professional manner
* Liaise with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure accurate and on-time order fulfilment
* Maintain and update customer price lists and records using SAP
* Check daily inventory levels and support forecasting efforts
* Work closely with account managers to support customer activity and ensure satisfaction
* Input and manage customer orders accurately in SAP, ensuring all KPIs are met
* Assist with invoice and payment queries, working with the finance team and escalating when needed
* Create and maintain customer account information
* Proactively inform customers of order updates or supply issues
Requirements:
* Experience in customer service or customer account management
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Proficiency with SAP and Excel preferred (training can be provided)
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Knowledge of export documentation is desirable but not essential
